Since 2006, I have owned and operated DynaGrace Enterprises (www.dynagrace.com), a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) in rural Morgan, Utah. DGE is a graduate of the SBA 8(a) Certification program and started with a vision of delivering world-class professional Information Technology (IT) services and software. DGE has since expanded to include industrial automation, cybersecurity, engineering, and technical writing. DGE has done business nationwide with the Air Force, Army, Department of Parks, Naval Research Laboratory, Air National Guard and other companies.
The business model has been to partner with bigger firms and team on projects to gain experience. Leveraging the training received from the 8(a) program, DGE foresees more DoD work coming from being a 100% WOSB in subsequent years and is on the GSA STARS II.
As an inventor, I am continually working on my latest invention, a compact, portable weather station called the WeatherEgg®.
I am the author of several books including “The Minority and Women-Owned Small Business Guide to Government Contracts”. I have written other books including a book on grief, children’s coloring books on weather, and a fully illustrated book on Blockchain.
I speak to business owners about the climb from Country Girl to CEO. Last year I graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses training and received an award for Davis/Morgan business of the year. I also serve on the board of my local Morgan County Chamber.
I am close to my family, love traveling and outdoor activities including golf, hiking, and snowshoeing. I have a passion for meteorology and I also raise honey bees.
